Ryan Walters is a true creative visionary when it comes to his passion for doll making.  Combine that with his one of a kind imagination and precise attention to detail and what Ryan creates is far more than your ordinary doll.  Character and doll design has been a passion of his since  he was in high school in Sidney, Ohio.  He graduated with a bachelors degree in business administration and a minor in textiles and clothing from The Ohio State University.

Ryan designs and sews each costume, constructs all of the wigs, paints each of the faces, and perfects every detail down to dyeing the eyes to the appropriate color.  Each doll starts out as the same "fibre-craft" plastic fashion doll body.  He gathers his inspiration from faery tales, history, mythology, cartoons, nature, color, day to day encounters and people that he comes across.

The first set he created was of the characters in "Little Women" complete with a detachable weave for when Jo cut off her hair and sold it to fund Mrs. March's trip to Washington.  Since then he has created nearly 150 designs: some gifted, some sold, and some kept as part of his own collection.

Ryan's imagination and skill set knows no bounds.  The amount of work and detail that goes into each and everyone of the dolls he creates is quite extensive.  Please enjoy a glimpse a glimpse into Ryan's imagination and enjoy the world that he has created...
